Chef Yadiyah Letellier

Personal Chef/Trainer/Nutritionist

A Brooklyn native, Chef Yadiyah Letellier is a young and charismatic chef on the rise. A proud New Yorker infused with flavors from all over the world, Letellier became a culinary enthusiast at an early age. He credits a large family, hard knock life, and growing up in New York for his desire to become a world class chef. When feeding a family of thirteen children on a low income, you have to become creative - a role Letellier happily accepted! In high school, Yadiyah took a more serious interest in his future by enrolling in his local BOCES program to sharpen his skills in the Culinary Arts course. While excelling in BOCES, Letellier worked entry level positions at local golf club kitchens to gain experience in his future field. From there, his love for food and creating delicious meals deepened. His ability to not only excel in the kitchen, but also in the classroom and basketball court earned him entrance into the well known culinary program at Monroe College and a starting spot on their Men’s basketball team. Chef Letellier’s focus continued to take him to new heights he never thought possible. Graduating from Monroe College with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, Yadiyah was then accepted into Johnson & Wales University of Rhode Island to continue his studies and basketball career. His junior year was an eye opener for him. With smaller classes, there was a more intimate experience with his learning and a strong encouragement to develop your own personal flair as a chef. His hard work in the kitchen expanded to the basketball court and the stage. Paying homage to his athletic physique, Yadiyah took to the stage for a couple NPC Physique showcases. During his training, he developed a love for pushing his body to its limits and a passion for understanding the important role nutrition plays in order to do just that. During his time at JWU, Letellier also studied abroad in Peru to learn about the culture and how to prepare traditional dishes. Just a kid from Brooklyn, this trip was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only was it his first flight, but it was his first time outside of the country. Filled with gratitude, Yadiyah returned back to the States with even more vigor to grind out his senior season of basketball and graduate a semester early. In 2016, Yadiyah Letellier graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Food Service Management and an Associates Degree in Baking & Pastry. He also closed out his senior year winning the GNAC Men's Basketball Conference Championship. As if that moment couldn’t get any sweeter, Letellier went on that summer to play semi-pro basketball for San Marcos in Peru. That fall, he accepted a sous chef position at the Beachcomber Beach Resort Hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida. At the same time, he launched his own personal chef company, All Eats LLC. Today, Chef Letellier enjoys traveling as a means to expand his arsenal of cuisines. When he’s not traveling, you can find him checking out the local food scene, getting a sweat on in the gym or on the court, or getting a laugh in with his family and friends. As an athlete, Chef Letellier finds importance, not only in an active lifestyle, but also well balanced diet. However, a balanced diet does not have to be bland nor expensive! In fact, his goal with All Eats LLC is to teach others how to prepare healthy flavorful meals on a budget, while incorporating an active lifestyle. To live your best life, you must take care of your mind, body, and soul!
